Houston Safari Club Builds Upon Relationship With MidwayUSA Foundation

Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC), a leader in education, conservation and hunters’ rights, is proud to announce the strengthening of its partnership with the MidwayUSA Foundation. The MidwayUSA Foundation has generously accepted Houston Safari Club’s 501(c)(3) Foundation, the American Conservation and Education Society (ACES), as a partner to participate in its Donor Designated Endowment Program. The MidwayUSA Foundation, founded by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA, is a public charity working to sustain the shooting sports industry by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. The endowment program establishes a fund for the benefit of youth shooting sports through charitable organizations. Randy Moeller, MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, states, “Every dollar of the $400,000 gift made by Houston Safari Club to our endowment program will be matched and 5% will provide grant funding for their youth program. Attendee Registration Now Open for Houston Safari Club 2017 Convention

Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC) announces registration for the 2017 Convention and Hunting Expo is now open. The event will take place January 13-15 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriot, The Woodlands, TX. Themed as “Into The Wild” the 2017 event will feature award-winning entertainer Jason Hewlett. Jason presents an incredible one-man show of music, comedy, parody & impressions. The 2017 HSC Convention will also include the opportunity to bid on the coveted Texas Desert Bighorn Sheep Reserve Tag. Awarded by Texas Parks and Wildlife, the majority of the proceeds are donated back to the Texas Desert Bighorn sheep program. The winners will be announced at the annual HSC Convention and Hunting Expo, January 13-15 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriot, The Woodlands, Texas. HSC Signs onto Statement of Principles in Support of Public Lands

Houston Safari Club Partners With Conservation Visions And Supports Wild Harvest Initiative

Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC), a leader in education, conservation and hunters’ rights, is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Conservation Visions. HSC’s partnership with Conservation Visions includes support of the Wild Harvest Initiative. The Wild Harvest Initiative is multi-year program designed by Conservation Visions Inc. to measure and analyze the biomass of wild animal protein harvested by citizens of the United States and Canada, and to assess its nutritional and its economic value.
