Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC), a leader in education, conservation and hunters’ rights, is proud to announce the strengthening of its partnership with the MidwayUSA Foundation.

The MidwayUSA Foundation has generously accepted Houston Safari Club’s 501(c)(3) Foundation, the American Conservation and Education Society (ACES), as a partner to participate in its Donor Designated Endowment Program. The MidwayUSA Foundation, founded by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA, is a public charity working to sustain the shooting sports industry by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. The endowment program establishes a fund for the benefit of youth shooting sports through charitable organizations.

Randy Moeller, MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, states, “Every dollar of the $400,000 gift made by Houston Safari Club to our endowment program will be matched and 5% will provide grant funding for their youth program. The mission of HSC’s ACES charity fits perfectly with our mission to help fund youth shooting teams and activities.”

“Houston Safari Club is proud to join with MidwayUSA Foundation in supporting the future of shooting sports by providing this initial endowment to fund Youth shooting and hunting programs across the country.  This partnership with MidwayUSA Foundation perfectly complements HSC’s nationally recognized Youth Scholarship Program, both of which we are confident will help to insure the future of our Shooting and Hunting Heritage,” states John Pepper, Treasurer, Houston Safari Club.
