Houston Safari Club Foundation Awards Multiple Grants

Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF), as part of its effort to support the future of hunting and conservation, announces the award of almost $30,000 in grants. Recently, the HSCF Grants Committee and Board of Directors announced the award of multiple grants. The Liberty University Shooting Team received support for their national shooting team. A grant was also provided to the Ridge Point FFA Booster Club in support of their high school shooting team. The Bay Area Council of The Boy Scouts of America received a grant to replace equipment for their shooting program. Finally, a grant was provided to The Tashinga Initiative to support a remote Ranger field station situated on the mouths of the Chewore and Zambezi Rivers. Winners will be recognized at the HSCF Annual Worldwide Hunting Expo & Convention, January 24-26, 2020.   The HSCF hunting awards celebrate HSCF member experiences and achievements at the annual convention. Winners will be recognized during the Friday night banquet and will be presented with beautiful custom bronze statues. Houston Safari Club Foundation Now Accepting Nominations For Conservationist of the Year Award

Houston, TX (April 22, 2019) – Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is now accepting nominations for its first Conservationist of the Year Award. Beginning January 2020, Houston Safari Club Foundation will honor an exceptional champion of conservation through this annual award. The HSCF Conservationist of the Year Award recognizes individuals or organizations exemplifying a true servant’s heart for conservation. Nominees are considered for their works related to education, advocacy, legislation, policy, environmental activities, and the protection and preservation of wildlife and habitat. Nominations may be made by and for individuals or organizations.
