HSC Announces the 2015 Convention Sponsors

HSC is proud to announce its 2015 Worldwide Hunting Expo and Convention sponsors. Sonic Automotive, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, is the Circle of Excellence Sponsor for the 2015 convention. The event will take place January 23-25, 2015 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas. In addition, Enterprise Products Partners, L.P., one of the largest publicly-traded energy partnerships, and Capital Farm Credit, a customer-owned cooperative, providing financing to rural landowners in Texas, have continued their support of HSC as Platinum Convention Sponsors. HSC is also delighted to announce that Carter’s Country and S&B Engineers and Constructors, LTD have returned this year as Gold Convention Sponsors.

HSC And Texas Wildlife Association Foundation Partner to Promote Youth Hunting

HSC has provided a $15,000 grant to Texas Wildlife Association Foundation, Inc. (TWAF) in support of their Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP). The TYHP is recognized as one of the official educational programs of the Texas Wildlife Association and its partner, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, to introduce young Texans to hunting. Each year, the TYHP gives thousands of Texans the opportunity to participate in youth hunting activities, legally and ethically while learning about the valuable role landowners and hunters play in wildlife conservation. Because many youth today do not have the resources or opportunities to experience outdoor activities such as hunting, especially on private land, the TYHP is a solution as it provides hunting activities for many families who have limited income and/or limited access to private and public land.

HSC Provides Support for Conservation Force

HSC continued its support of Conservation Force with a grant renewal of $25,000. HSC is one of the founding supporters of Conservation Force, which it has funded since 1997. Conservation Force is a charitable foundation dedicated to conservation of wildlife, wild places and the outdoor way of life. Its name and its theme, “hunters are the force” stand for three forces. First, that hunters and anglers are an indispensable and essential force for wildlife conservation. Second, that Conservation Force is a collaborative effort combining forces of a consortium of organizations and, third, that Conservation Force itself is a proactive force to be reckoned with because of its record of conservation successes.
