Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is pleased to continue its support of Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation (OTF) to expand outdoor youth education opportunities for Houston-area students.

HSCF is dedicated to preserving the future of conservation through youth mentoring programs and education. Each year, HSCF hosts almost 100 students for hunting and fishing trips and provides shooting education and sponsorship of youth sporting clays teams. In addition, over 150 area high school students are hosted at HSCF’s annual Convention and Hunting Expo for an outdoor career awareness program. In advanced education, HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars.

The OTF’s Outdoor Adventures curriculum is an approved physical education or Ag. Science Wildlife Management course. There are over 80 schools and 8,000 students in the greater Houston area teaching outdoor skills such as Hunter Education, Fishing and Archery through the Outdoor Adventures program

Scot McClure, OTF Education Coordinator, states “Thanks to the support provided by HSCF, the OTF will introduce outdoor skills to youth and expand the Outdoor Adventures program to more schools across Houston and surrounding communities.”
