HSC supports movement of sportsmen’s packages through Congress

Houston Safari Club has added its support to two letters urging movement of sportsmen’s packages through Congress. Both packages will enhance America’s hunting and angling heritage, and promote wildlife and habitat conservation.

The first letter expresses support for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) Act (H.R. 2406). Similar legislation passed the House during the 113th Congress. See the full letter.

The second letter represents strong support for the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2015 (S.405). The letter states “despite strong support, similar legislation fell victim to procedural gridlock short of Senate passage in both the 112th and 113th Congresses.” and encourages the scheduling of markups to continue the advancement of the bill. See the full letter.
