Hunt Prep, Extreme Conditions, and More with Rob Gearing of Spartan Precision Equipment on the “Hunting Matters with Joe Betar” Podcast

(Houston, TX- September 9, 2024) Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) and the “Hunting Matters with Joe Betar” podcast welcomes Rob Gearing of Spartan Precision Equipment.

Rob Gearing founded Spartan Precision Equipment Ltd in 2013 and is your stereotypical crazy, bald inventor but with an enduring passion for the extreme outdoors, whether it be in hunting, fishing, mountain climbing or biking. All Spartan products owe a nod to Rob’s extensive and unprecedented background in aviation engines, research of exotic materials and need for providing flawless hunting solutions.

Rob grew up climbing and did not get into serious hunting until his late 20’s. Rob also helped on various estates as a Deer Manager. Being a climber, Rob became self-reliant, which made him seriously question what he needed to take on trips (as he has to carry it). He started looking at his hunting gear in the same way. Rob became frustrated with hanging a Bipod from his rifle, sticking in his shoulder, getting stuck on things and weighing too much. Most people only use this for a fraction of the time so he needed to fix that. This made him build the Spartan Brand into what it is today.

Over the last 10 years Rob has been travelling the world extensively, either with a rifle, fly rod, climbing gear and sometimes on a motorbike. Rob considers himself a positive person that loves adventure and design.
