Houston Safari Club Fall 2015 Duck Hunt

Houston Safari Club 2015 Duck Hunt

$110 for adults 16 and older
$55 for youth 15 and younger

WG Outfitters Provides:

Trained Dogs
Pre-Scouted Fields
Hunting Blinds
Experienced Guides
Goose Parkas (If Needed)

What to Bring:

HSC Liability Waiver – Required to be turned in prior to event.

Licenses & Stamps
Texas Hunting License
Texas Migratory Bird Stamp
Federal Migratory Bird Stamp

Hunter Safety Card Requirements: Every hunter (including out-of-state hunters) born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Training Course, or be accompanied while hunting. Minimum age of certification is 9 years of age. If you were born on or after September 2, 1971 and you are under 9 years of age, you must be accompanied while hunting. Age 9 through 16, you must successfully complete a hunter education course, or you must be accompanied while hunting. Age 17 and over, you must successfully complete a hunter education course, or purchase a “Hunter Education Deferral” and you must be accompanied while hunting.

Gear/Clothing:
Rubber boots and/or waders
Camo Clothing
Head covering and hand coverings such as a hat, face mask, or beanie, and gloves.
Rain wear or waterproof camouflage.

Shotgun and Shells (no lead allowed)
Recommended 12 gauge chambered in either 3″ or 3 1/2″ and 20 gauge or .410 for youth. We recommend shot size #2 #3 #4 (for ducks) and BB BBB (for geese) (Steel Shot Only) for the hunt. We suggest either an Improved Cylinder or Modified Choke tube.

Eye and Ear Protection
Earmuffs or ear plugs, and ballistic, protective eye wear.

Extras
Camera for pictures
Cooler for game transport
Shotgun cleaning kit and gun oil.

While great dogs and great callers are always appreciated, there is no need to bring either-these will be provided.

LODGING

HSC has reserved a room block at the Spring Hill Suites in Katy for your convenience. 

Rates: 1 King or 2 Full – $95
