I am a native Houstonian born and raised in the Memorial Area and continue to live and
work here to this day. I have been a passionate Hunter and outdoorsman since my
father first took me hunting when I was three years old on our south Texas deer lease. I
have continued this legacy my whole life and still hunt with my father as well as my kids
today. I have hunted all over the State of Texas, The United States and several
international locations as well. This has enriched my passion and understanding of
conservation especially for the North American Model of Conservation through
sustainable harvest. I currently work and own a business in the hunting and outdoor
industry. I own and operate The Gun Cleaners of Houston and own and operate The
Gun Cleaners corporation where we sell franchises to other individuals as well build and
sell gun cleaning systems for the US military. Through this I have been able to meet
many other passionate hunters and this has really bolstered my passion to help in
conservation in any way that I can. I am involved in many conservation groups, Houston
Safari Club, Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited, Back Country Hunters and
anglers, and The Teddy Roosevelt Conservation fund just to name a few.
