
Bryan Ray
Bryan Ray has been a member of the Houston Safari Club since 2017 and became a Life Member in 2018. Since joining HSC, Bryan and his wife Christina have become active participants and volunteers. Bryan volunteered for the duration of the convention at both the 2018 and 2019 conventions and served as the Games Committee Chair for the 2019 convention. Bryan and his wife are Gazelles Luncheon Sponsors and were silent auction donors in 2019. Bryan also volunteered at the 2018 HSC Sporting Clays Tournament and has assisted where needed whenever asked. At the 2019 convention, Bryan and Christina were presented the President’s award for service to HSC.
A life-long hunter and fisherman, Bryan has been learning from the outdoors since he was a small boy. Bryan is an avid bowhunter and waterfowl hunter, and his two greatest passions are the quiet solitude of the stalk and the raucous calling of the duck blind. Along with HSC, Bryan is a member of the Texas Wildlife Association, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Safari Club International, the West Texas Chapter of SCI, and the Hill Country Chapter of SCI. As a sixth generation Texan, and son of a retired Texas Ranger, Bryan is also a Texas Ranger Association Foundation benefactor.
Bryan earned two degrees from Texas A&M University where he worked extensively with international agricultural projects. During his Master’s program, Bryan worked as a teaching and research assistant gaining valuable knowledge working with grant proposals and research projects. Bryan and Christina (HSC Life Member and Merchandise Committee Chair) live in Fredericksburg, Tx where Bryan works as an agent for Whitetail Properties Real Estate, specializing in farms, ranches, and recreational properties.
