HSCF champions these programs, which constitute 99% of wilderness conservation efforts.
#2 CRITICAL ROLE
Without hunting industry contributions, wildlife faces threats like habitat loss and overpopulation.
HSCF Grant Recipient Guidelines
- Grantees must keep and maintain records of expenditures adequate to readily verify the use of the Grant funds.
- Within a calendar year of the Grant award date, or upon completion of a project, a report detailing the expenditure of Grant funds must be completed and returned to HSCF.
- Grantee agrees to communicate and promote the partnership with HSCF, with credits for Grant funding to include HSCF in all public mentions.
- Grantee agrees to provide an article and photographic images detailing the use of Grant funds in relation to the project and authorizes HSCF to use the content and images as needed.
- Grant funds will be used solely for the purposes described in the Grant.
- The Grant amount awarded is the total amount to which HSCF is financially obligated. Should these funds be used for a continuing program, any additional funds must be authorized pursuant to a separate Grant Application.
- No portion of the funds provided may be used for lobbying or political purposes.
- No Indirect Costs: HSCF grants cannot be used for Indirect Costs (IDC).
- Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the Grant agreement will result in ineligibility for current or future grant consideration.
Additional Information
- Grant Timing: Grant requests are reviewed quarterly (March, June, September, December).
- Submission Deadline: Submit applications by the first of the preceding month (February, May, August, November).
- Review Process: The HSCF Grants Committee and Board of Directors evaluate requests.
- Eligibility: Align your grant request with HSCF’s mission statement.
- Application: If eligible, submit a grant application. If you lack an HSCF sponsor, use “No Sponsor” in that section.
