During this episode we will sit down with Matt Pyle, HSCF President, to discuss what led him to become so involved with HSCF, why it is so important to him, and some of the challenges of leading a nonprofit organization during a pandemic.


Biography:

Matt Pyle has been a member of HSC since 2009. He served as Vice President in 2012 and 2013, on the Board of Directors 2013-2017 and is currently serving as the Chairman for the Veteran Outreach program. Matt was the 2013 Convention Chairman, the Convention Corporate Sponsor Chairman in 2012 and 2013, and Co-Chair in 2014 – 2018. He and his wife, Susie, are Gazelles Luncheon and Hunting Awards Sponsors.

In addition to his work with HSC, Matt is a Member of the NRA, Vice Chairman with the Armed Forces Appreciation Committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, State Board of Advisors for the US Veterans Initiative and Board Member of Trinity Oaks. Matt served in the US Army as a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is now a Senior Energy Consultant at Choice Energy Services. He is married to Susie and has three children: Sloan, Stockton (HSC member). and Sawyer.
