During the 2023 HSC Convention, Kevin was honored to receive the Frank Green Award of Commitment. This is the highest honor one can receive as a volunteer to HSC as voted on by all the Past Presidents. The Frank Green Award of Commitment and the President’s Award are truly the highlights in Kevin’s “volunteer” career with HSC.

In addition to volunteering, Kevin has supported Houston Safari Club with sponsorships
over the years for HSC’s Hunting Awards Program, HSC’s Sporting Clays Tournament
along with consistently sponsoring the Gazelles Luncheon.

Kevin’s love for hunting and the outdoors started when he was 8 years old with his first
whitetail buck. Both grandfathers, his father, and his older brother were all hunters.
Hunting has always been a part of his life. Kevin fully supports HSC’s mission in
conservation, education, and hunters’ rights.  He is in the construction industry and owns
Rummel Creek Builders and Rummel Creek Pools. He has been happily married to Cheryl
for over 24 years and has two daughters Kayla (19) and Kendall (16).
