HSC Signs Opposition to the CECIL Act


The Houston Safari Club as part of the American Wildlife Conservation Partnership signed on a letter to the leaders of the House of Representatives and Senate.The organizations expressed their opposition to the “Conserving Ecosystems by Ceasing the Importation of Large Animal Trophies Act” (CECIL Act). The bill provides no benefit for wildlife conservation, would undermine proven international conservation strategies and directly conflicts with the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation.
