Houston Safari Club Continues Support of Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation

Congressional Sportsmen’s FoundationHouston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC) is honored to announce its continued support of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) in its efforts to advance the rights of hunters, trappers, recreational shooters, and anglers.

Through this partnership, HSC’s Board of Directors and members signify their commitment to the great works done by CSF and the mission statement of HSC. This partnership includes the continuation of HSC as a title sponsor of CSF’s “Texas Bass, Bucks and Boots” event.  The regional event brings together state legislators and members of the sportsmen’s community to discuss the future of America’s hunting and angling traditions. The event will take place September 29th in Houston, TX.  In addition, Houston Safari Club is providing support for the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s Annual Banquet & Auction, to be held September 14th in Washington, D.C. This annual event provides an opportunity for the outdoor sporting community, supporters and friends of CSF to recognize the tremendous work of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) in keeping sportsmen and women in the field and on the water.

“We are proud to partner with Houston Safari Club to advance hunting opportunities across the country,” said CSF President Jeff Crane. “With an extensive membership of sportsmen and women in Texas and throughout the country, working with HSC will enhance the voice of the sportsmen’s community in the halls of government.”

“The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation has stood on watch to represent the positive interests of the American sportsman for over 25 years,” states Kevin Ormston, HSC President. “The decision to continue our support of CSF was an easy one because their mission is in perfect alignment with ours-to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the protection of hunters’ rights.”
