Houston Safari Club Announces 2018 Convention Entertainment

Houston, TX – Houston Safari Club (HSC) is pleased to announce its entertainment lineup for their 2018 Worldwide Hunting Expo and Convention. The 2018 HSC Expo has doubled in size, featuring over 260 exhibitors and three fundraising banquets!

The Friday night banquet will feature The Bellamy Brothers. For more than 30 years, the Bellamy Brothers have been an unassuming picture of consistency in Country music, crafting honest, heartfelt songs that connect with millions of listeners around the world. Even more remarkable is the fact that they’ve remained relevant in a genre that has become increasingly enamored with style over substance, glitz over grit, and fleeting celebrity over artistic vision. Yet Howard and David Bellamy have weathered the trends admirably, enjoying enormous success throughout their career with numerous No. 1 hits on both the Pop and Country charts.

Country music artist Roger Creager will be the feature entertainment for Saturday night. Roger is an adventurist; he does not like to sit still while the world passes by. Whether it’s climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, jumping off his boat to snorkel with wild dolphins, snow skiing in the Rockies, catching tuna 100 miles from shore, piloting his airplane to far-‐off concerts, spear-‐fishing around oil rigs, scuba diving coral reefs, surfing in Costa Rica, or playing music through the Italian countryside, he tries to get the most out of what the world has to offer. All of this finds its way into Roger’s music and live shows. His passion for life invigorates everyone around him including his fan base. Those who get hooked on his charisma and high energy come back show after show, year after year, and record after record.

Houston Safari Club’s Annual Worldwide Convention and Conservation Expo celebrates wildlife, wild places and the sporting lifestyle for thousands of visitors and exhibitors. The three-day event will feature hundreds of exhibitors from South Texas to South Africa and everywhere in between. In addition, HSC will host incredible fundraising events including a weekend long silent auction on the Expo hall floor, the new Thursday Night Expo Preview & Exhibitor Appreciation Reception- a chance to be among the few that have an exclusive “sneak peek” of the expo hall, Friday Night Banquet & Hunting Awards, Saturday Gazelles Luncheon and the Saturday Night Grand Gala.

The event will take place January 26-28, 2018 in its new 104,000 sq. ft. home – downtown Houston at the George R. Brown (GRB) Convention Center. Hilton Americas-Houston will be the location for all banquets and luncheons.
