Wade Lemon has been guiding throughout the west since 1978. Wade began chasing lions with hounds at the young age of 12, gaining knowledge and experience from many of the old-time lion hunters whom he considers legends today.

His expertise has allowed him to follow his strain of dogs from the Southern Cross to under the Northern Lights. In 2018, Wade was awarded the Modern Day Teddy Roosevelt Award by Donald Trump Jr. for his work and efforts in wildlife conservation, and preserving our hunting heritage.

Wade has guided and outfitted over 2,500 clients to successful cougar hunts and to this day, has never taken one for himself. What started as a passion grew into a family run business. Today, Wade and his son Kalan operate their company Wade Lemon Hunting. WLH has helped more hunters harvest record book: mountain lion, mule deer, and elk than anyone in history. Kalan’s obsession with antlered game and the help of their outstanding guides has resulted in taking over 200 mule deer breaking the magic 200” mark in only the last six seasons.

WLH has since partnered with Martin Flores, becoming the most elite outfitter in Sonora, Mexico, operating on over one million acres for Desert Bighorn Sheep, Desert Mule and Coues Deer, Gould’s Turkey, and high-volume dove hunting.  Wade Lemon Hunting is now one of the largest, most successful outfitters across the west.
