Each year, Houston Safari Club Foundation conducts activities to support our mission to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the protection of hunters’ rights.

These efforts culminate with our annual Hunting Expo & Convention each year. We rely on the support and involvement of our volunteers – they really are the backbone of the Houston Safari Club Foundation.

AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES:

FIREARMS: Assist the chairperson to transport auction and raffle firearms to fundraising areas.

STORAGE ROOM, SETUP & RUNNERS: Assist in the delivery, staging or removal of materials in the storage room, set up of hunting and photo awards, banquet set up and transport materials to locations as needed.

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION: Assist staff in answering questions, directing exhibitors to booth locations, run errands as needed.

EXHIBITS: Activities including helping exhibitors move in and out, traffic flow in the loading dock area, assisting exhibitors to move materials to and from their booths; may involve some light lifting. We do not assist in assembling booths.

EXHIBITOR THANK YOU, DONOR & SPONSOR RECOGNITION: Canvass the exhibit hall to thank all exhibitors for their support, provide donor appreciation cards to all exhibitor-donors and provide sponsor signs to all exhibitor-sponsors.

CONVENTION RAFFLE: Assist with set up & break down of the raffle area before and after the convention; staffing of the raffle area during convention.

YWCE: Assist with HSCF’s annual Youth Wildlife Conservation Expo (YWCE) at Convention. Set up and break down of registration area and rooms and staffing during the event.

EXHIBITOR & ATTENDEE REGISTRATION PACKETS: Assist the HSCF staff in compiling packets the week before convention.
