Shaun Nelson

Shaun Nelson has been a member of HSC since 2006, and a Life Member since 2016. Currently he is an HSC Vice President. He has served two terms as a member of the board. In addition to his Officer and Board positions, he has served as Convention Co-chair, Silent Auction Committee Chair, Raffle Committee Chair, Grants Committee Chair and Membership Committee Chair.

In addition to his work with HSC, he has been a Gazelles Luncheon Sponsor and donated to HSC’s silent auctions.
Shaun is married to his wife Angie Nelson. They have four great children, Ty Nelson, a Junior at Texas A&M and a member of the Corps of Cadets, Jacob Madden, a veteran of the United States Air Force, Katie Madden, a senior at Pearland High School and future member of the class of ’23 at Texas A&M and Taylor Nelson, a senior at Royal High School.
Shaun has been an avid hunter and outdoorsman since his youth. He has hunted on 4 continents and many different countries. He loves to share his passion for hunting and conservation with his kids and others. It has been one of his great pleasures in life to serve the members of the Houston Safari Club. If given the opportunity, He would readily accept the challenge of another term.
